Best For: Grooming desensitization (nail trims, ear cleaning, bath time), cooperative care, target training, vet visits, positive reinforcement reward delivery
Care: Hand-wash with warm soapy water; top-rack dishwasher safe; refillable with peanut butter, wet food, cream cheese, or any spreadable treat
Value: $22.48 for 3-pack (~$7.50/stick)
SodaPup's Lick Stick (eStick) is a hand-held lick and chew tool designed for owner-directed enrichment. The handler loads the grooved tip with a high-value spreadable treat — peanut butter, wet food, cream cheese — and presents it to the dog during high-stress procedures. The dog focuses on licking, triggering a calming parasympathetic response that makes nail trims, ear cleaning, baths, and vet exams dramatically less stressful. This is grooming desensitization at its most practical: no mat training required, no counter conditioning protocol to learn — just load, present, and let the dog do what dogs do.
Beyond cooperative care, the Lick Stick functions as a precision reward tool for target training. Dogs learn to orient toward and touch the stick on cue, building focus and handler engagement in short sessions. The 3-pack format is purpose-built for training professionals, multi-dog households, and owners who want one stick staged in each room — bathroom for bath time, kitchen for meal-adjacent training, living room for daily enrichment work. Separation anxiety protocols frequently incorporate lick-based calming tools; having multiple Lick Sticks available means you can offer one during departure routines and keep others staged throughout the house for on-demand calm.
The eStick covers the Lick & Chew and Social & Bonding pillars of SodaPup's 6-Pillar Canine Enrichment Framework. $22.48 for the 3-pack — USA-made quality at under $7.50 per stick.
I think the quality of the soda pup toys have gotten better over the years. I really like these flower pots and they are an excellent alternative to the westpaws fillable "cups"
I wasn't sure if my dogs would actually chew on this toy, but they do! They'll switch between this flat-shaped toy and their bones. It's very cute and has held up well, although my dogs are not super chewers so take that with a grain of salt.
I was a little skeptical since we haven’t tried these lick mats but heard a lot about them. Well! The Dobermans absolutely love them! The continuous licking action on these mats definitely helps to stimulate and tire their brains. Happy pups happy mom. The suction cups on the bottom of the mat definitely helps.
My dog has megasophagus and needs to eat her food slowly instead of gulping. Soda Pup provides bowls made in the U.S. with quality slow feeding bowls so I can feed her without worry. Thank you so much for providing a product that’s safe for my dog.
Amazing mixture of enrichment products and also great quality. Will definitely be purchasing another 20-pack for our kennel enrichment program or splitting them amongst friends!
The slower feeder bowl I purchased from Sodapup works really well and great fit for my Irish wolfhound puppy!!!! The bowl was discounted due to cosmetic issues but I cannot see a thing wrong with them! I bought 2!!!
From my perspective it was well made, heavy duty, easy to fill and clean.
From my dog's perspective he loved it. I made one and after he tried it he kept staring at the empty ones on the counter.
Super helpful for my dog’s physical therapy! He does water treadmill and acupuncture. The lick stick helps the topping last, and keeps him focused and calm. I like that I ended up using less product as the textured surface keeps the licks lasting.
My 9yo male Doberman loves this ball! He chomps on it and tosses it everywhere. The squeak does in fact give out, but it lasts way longer than anything else that has ever squeaked.
I got this for my lick mat loving dog and she’s LOVING it all but especially the lick mat. It takes her a solid 30+ mins to finish when her other lick mats are maybe 5 mins activities. All products feel very well made and you can’t beat the price!

2 thumbs up👍👍
Great lick mat!! High quality and love the design. It's a moderate level difficulty which is perfect for my guy. Makes him work hard but also has some easier spots for enticement!! I love that it doesn't have suction cups on the bottom too. Plus....veteran owned and American made!!! Can't beat that💜🐾

This Was great for keeping my pups cool on hot summer days.
This was great for melon mg my pups cool on hot sun her days. I blended some organic berries, a little plain organic yogurt, a drop of local honey and some filtered water, filled the pots up and froze them. It took them a good amount of time to lick their frozen pup pots. And it kept my pups nice and cool.
