I got this because it is rubber and made in the USA. I thought it would be healthier than a polyester frisbee made in China.
My dog falls within the large category, according to how this product is labeled. She is an athletic border collie, about 40ish pounds. Unfortunately, I will likely not be keeping this toy for her. The large frisbee is very heavy. I’m afraid that if we play too hard, she could get hurt.
This one is designed for a dog with a wide or heavy jaw. This is so heavy that it really should only be used for a larger dog like a German Shepherd, mastiff, or Akita. The only dogs smaller than about 55 or 60 pounds using this probably should be some sort of bully breed.
Also, it doesn’t fly all that well. It’s OK, but it does not really compare to other rubber frisbees that I have used.
Loved the variety in the package and the cosmetic b blemishes were hardly noticeable. I got them for a foster going through heartworm treatment and she loved them. Kept her calm and entertained. They were well worth the price for me and will continue to use them for future fosters too!
We're not a daycare or a kennel, we're just a big pack of strong dogs that like to chew!
