I hesitated on buying this football, but finally, on my third order, I added two to my cart. They sat on the sidelines for a while. But one day I was feeling less energetic, so rather than prepping string cheese chunks and cutting up tripe sticks to fill up other of my food toys, I pulled out my bag of bully bites and filled both footballs with them. This football is a perfect food toy for bully bites,
My Doberkids had a blast bouncing their footballs around and scoring when a bully bite popped out. Then they took a timeout to gnaw and finish off their stick before getting back into the game to punt the thing around for another round. Score and score again, which makes for an excellent and engaging food toy!
I'm a pro dog trainer, and use a lot of food toys for both my dogs and my clients'. This one is a winner. You have to match the right food to each food toy. Every food toy doesn't cry out to be stuffed with peanut butter. There's plenty else to choose from. Be creative!

The opening is ever so slightly smaller than a kong. It's tougher than a red Kong. Not as fun of a design as the other sodapup toys.
