Love Design, but Issues

You have many different very neat designs for the lick mats for use with peanut butter and such treats for our dogs. I discovered one of the biggest hassles that I now look at when I am purchasing ANY of the licking mats are how tight the design/patterns are. When it takes me a long time to clean the mat using a box of toothpicks to get the peanut butter out of all the tight corners that gets infuriating!!! I have 1 mat that I won't even use because of how hard it is to clean up. Then it would also help if you placed the suction cups on the back of the items. You don't have to fill it up with suction cups, but maybe 5-10 along the bottom of the mat would be wonderful. Thanks!

Hi Debi,
Thank you for your review. Our lickmats come with varying degrees of difficulty. Some are quite difficult, designed for dogs with high food drive. The goal is to extend the licking time in order to provide more of an enrichment challenge. Of course, the downside is that the more complex patterns can be more difficult to clean as well. The type of food you use with the lick mats also makes a difference. Peanut butter is perhaps the most difficult to clean because it is sticky by nature... One option is to try other foods in the more complex patterns. Things like pumpkin puree and unsweetened Greek yogurt will rinse right out - no tooth picks needed!
